Accenture Online Game (the “Competition”)

The Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is: Accenture (UK) Ltd. (company no. 3003) whose registered office is at 1 Plantation Place, 30 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3BD, referred to as “Accenture” or “Promoter”.

2. The Competition is open to a) UK resident; b) a current student at a UK university; and c) 18 years old or over at the time of entry. No employees of Accenture in the UK and Ireland who are connected in any way with the setting up of the Competition shall be permitted to enter the Competition.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the Competition.

4. The details for the entry to the Competition and the prize for each winner are listed as follows:

4.1. Entry - To be eligible for prizes, entrants must complete the online form in full. Entrants are able to share their entry on either Twitter or Facebook social media using #ThisIsAccenture.

4.2 Prizes a) “Weekly Prize”: 5 x Printed t-shirts.
b) “Final Prize”: Professional development mentoring/coaching session and lunch with Accenture Employee and Printed T-Shirt.
c) One winner will be chosen for each week the competition runs for the Weekly Prize.
d) At the close of the Competition one winner will be selected for the Final Prize.
e) Winners will be chosen independently via a selector software.

5. Content submitted:

5.1 Accenture will not be held responsible for any entries which are lost or not received by Accenture due to technical difficulties, link failures or online portal issues.
5.2 No content submitted or uploaded by entrant shall be defamatory, contain nudity or be contrary to applicable law or regulation (including any laws regarding anti-discrimination or false advertising).
5.3 Incorrectly completed or incomplete entries shall be disqualified.
5.4 One entry per entrant only. No additional entries are permitted.
6. Accenture is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.

7. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable or refundable. Prizes are subject to availability and Accenture reserves the right to substitute any prize without giving notice.

8. Accenture will contact the winner(s) promptly after the Competition has concluded to determine where they would like the prize to be delivered to. Accenture reserves the right to choose another winner if it receives no response from the winner within 48 hours from notification.

9. Any decision made by Accenture which relates to the Competition will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into. We reserve the right to feature the winning posts, as well as the name and county of the prize winner in future publications and publicity.

10. Accenture reserves the right to accept or reject any entry at its own discretion.

11. Any personal information provided by entrant shall be used by Accenture for the purposes of managing the Competition and, subject to entrant’s consent, will be retained for 12 months to provide the entrant with information on graduate jobs within Accenture or its concerned companies, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Accenture is a global business and the entrant’s personal information may be transferred internationally throughout Accenture’s worldwide organisation. By playing the games online or on campus, entrant agrees to the use of the personal information being used in this way. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and material in any publicity material which may be published on the internet. Any Personal Data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.

12. By submitting the entry to the Competition, the entrant warrants that he/she is the sole owner of the copyright in all the material submitted (if any), and grants to Accenture a fully paid-up, non-exclusive, non-transferable, irrevocable, perpetual license in respect of all materials, to use, reproduce and exercise all intellectual property rights (including to publish) for any purpose connected with the Competition.

13. To the full extent permitted by law, Accenture shall not be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence or omission) or otherwise for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (including but not limited to special, indirect incidental punitive or consequential damage) to persons or property reason in connection with participation in the Competition or arrangements for supply, or the supply of any prizes to the winners of the Competition.

14. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the entrant indemnifies Accenture (including its employees) against all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, any information or material which is unlawful, illegal, defamatory, derogatory, obscene or which may cause damage or offence arising in any way from the Competition, including for materials submitted to the Competition.

15. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

16. Accenture reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this contest and without notice.

17. Decisions pertaining to the contest including but not limited to selection of winners are at the sole discretion of Accenture UK and shall be final and binding on all contestants. This cannot be challenged in any forum or court of law.

18. Entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

19. Use of Personal Information Entry to the competition will deemed as acceptance of Accenture’s use of the entrant’s personal information as outlined below:

19.2 Accenture and its affiliates the right to use the entrant’s information and quotes by the entrant for the purpose of internal and external communications and marketing by Accenture. The entrant, by submitting an entry to the Competition, understands that their information will be used by Accenture in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

19.2 The entrant, by submitting an entry to the Competition, understands that their image/video footage and comments may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, reproduced or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product.

19.3 The entrant, by submitting an entry to the Competition, understands that the data captured could be posted online on Accenture and social media websites.  These include internal sites for newsletters and communications or external websites including Accenture.com and the Accenture and social media sites pages such as Facebook or Twitter. Accenture takes steps to maintain the security of its websites, however, postings across the internet are open and public, allowing the data to be used by other people.

19.4. The entrant, by submitting an entry to the Competition, acknowledges and understands that the internet is global in nature and that my information could be transferred throughout the world. This permission to Accenture particularly includes the right for use in print, electronic media, and all other media, as well as permission for the transfer of the materials to any country where Accenture does business.

19.5 The entrant, by submitting an entry to the Competition, understands that they will be consulted about the use of my image or comments for any other purpose not listed above.

19.6 The entrant, by submitting an entry to the Competition, acknowledges that they have completely read and fully understand and agree to the use of my data for the purposes explained on this release form.
